Our services

St John’s is open for private prayer from 9am to 12pm from Monday to Friday.

We currently have two congregations meeting each week.

Our 9.15am is a Common Worship Choral Eucharist with Holy Communion which serves an older but active group of 50+ adults, offering inspiring worship to those who come led by our choir.

Young choristers include a cohort of 6-12s who attend once a month, often drawing in their wider families that also regularly sing for this service.

Our 11.00am is a more informal band-led service which also provides ministry to children and youth (60+ adults, 16 children) children and young people and offers fortnightly socials.

There is also a midweek Holy Communion service on Wednesdays currently 10.30am** (new times** from 11.00am from 23.04.25) serving a select but valued group of people.

On occasion we have a communion service at 8:30am followed by a joint 10:30am service (commencing 27th July 2025) combining the best of both traditions!

We have a monthly Choral Evensong at 6.00pm.

Our church is the largest community building in the town and continues to offer its space for concerts and events, and we have plans to develop the space to make it more accessible to the people of Keynsham.

The nearby Parish Hall is a popular venue for community clubs, classes and events, with a seating capacity of around 100. Parish Hall Hire
