In 2005 a group of 13 people from Keynsham visited Fiwila, they were able to develop the relationship with the community through talking to both adults and children, sharing music, celebrating worship and playing sport. These pictures tell the story of the visit.
Fiwila is in the centre of central Zambia and is very rural as this picture from the hills above the community show.
The community was overwhelming in their hospitality and each morning we gathered around the cooking pot to pray, sing and give thanks to God for our lives and our friends in the UK and Zambia.
Football was a common language and one of the highlights was an 'international' game between Zambia and England, England lost 4 - 0 to very young and skilled Zambian eleven.
